Julie discovered her love for art at an early age through her mother, an oil painter and muralist,  who took the family to tour old homes and buildings on trips. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Georgia Tech and had the opportunity to spend a year in Paris studying at L’École d’Architecture, La Villette. Following her time in France, she spent a summer living in Dublin, Ireland, which deepened her love of travel, exploration, and the desire to understand how people live differently. Travel still informs her aesthetic, and she loves creating living spaces that are unique, beautiful, and inspired.

When she isn’t at home working on projects, she enjoys exploring her new city of Charleston or taking bike rides to the beach. She lives on James Island with her two cats, Bingley and Demmy.
